Dustin Traffie selected for Chemical Biology Interface Training Grant (T32)
Starting in Summer of 2026, Dustin is a newly awarded trainee on the Chemical Biology Interface Training Grant (CBITG) - T32. He is one of 12 trainees funded by this T32. Dustin's work will characterize drug-induced dimerization and paradoxical activation of the oncogenic BRAF mutation L597R. This project is co-mentored by Daniel Harki in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, who will mentor Dustin in chemical synthesis of BRAF inhibitor analogs to further elucidate the feat

Jason receives American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellowship
Jason C. Jones was recently awarded the American Cancer Society's Postdoctoral Fellowship for two years of support in studying the structural mechanism of c-Myc stabilization by Aurora Kinase A. Congratulations, Jason!


Nidhi receives 2025 Outstanding Postdoc Award in Service to the Academic Community
Nidhi Joshi, Vice President of the UMN Postdoctoral Association, was awarded the 2025 Outstanding Postdoc Award for her service to the academic community. Nidhi has advocated for the postdoc community in the past year by developing the postdoctoral retreat program, organizing postdoctoral town halls, bringing coffee and carbs to postdocs around campus, and implementing an industry career panel postdoc discussion. Congratulations, Nidhi, for this well deserved recognition!
